Gracious and Spacious
This kitchen was tucked in a corner and was in need of space to move around to function well.
Soooooo…..we took out the framed corner pantry which allowed us to extend the wall where the new larger range was placed. Relocated the refrigerator and added 3 cabinet pantries altogether. Once we eliminated the peninsula, the whole space blossomed. And you would never know we laced in hardwoods where walls and cabinets were removed! The addition of cabinetry in the breakfast area enlarged the overall kitchen.
I met with several contractors before finding Dee. I was very nervous about choosing the right person for my complete kitchen reno, as I have heard of several terrible situations that friends have gone through over the last few years. I could not be more grateful that I went with Peridona Designs. The entire project was handled with excellent communication and thorough detail on her end. Her workers all are extremely skilled and thorough too. I had challenges with my kitchen space and layout, and Dee offered excellent design options to maximize my space and functionality. She also offered me help in narrowing down design choices, which I desperately needed! She is very easy to talk to and accessible. When it came to start the work, Dee provided me with a calendar of the jobs would be happening each day and who would be in my home. She was also there all along, which my neighbors were even surprised to see. Honestly, when she gave me the project timeline of under 4 weeks, I was still prepared for double that time, as I hadn’t known anyone to have it completed in that time. We were pleasantly surprised that the project was actually finished ahead of schedule, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. No corners were cut and we absolutely love our new kitchen. I 100% recommend Dee and will be looking forward to working with her again in the future on our master bathroom reno.
